Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Ukraine, intends to reach agreement with the Telecominvest company (Kyiv) on modernization of its DWDM optical network.

In particular, Ukrtelecom plans to buy 1,313 pieces of telecommunications equipment and software for them, as well as to reach agreement on services involving its introduction.
The equipment is to be delivered in two years.
The company will make this purchase via simplified tender procedures (which allows purchase from a single seller).
The amount involved is UAH 71.51 million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Telecominvest is a limited liability company founded in 1996. It specializes in construction and technical servicing of local telephone lines in Kyiv. It also develops and supplies software.
Ukrtelecom owns 25.9% of the shares in Telecominvest and OWU AG (Switzerland) owns 74%.
