Ukrtelecom Changed 3 Unlimited Tariffs for OGO Kyiv Users

ogoUkraine’s major telecommunications company Ukrtelecom introduced on March 1 three unlimited tariff plans for the Kyiv users of the OGO internet service, with a license fee of UAH 60-150 a month.

Particularly, tariff plan “ОGО! 512-2010″ provides for data transmission speed of up to 512 kbps to the user (256 kbps from the user), and the license fee compared to the similar previous tariff (“ОGО! 512″) reduced by 40% or by UAH 40 to UAH 60.

The users of the “ОGО! 2-2010″ tariff may enjoy access to the Internet at a speed of up to 2 Mbps to the user (to 512 kbps from the user), and the license fee compared to the previous tariff, “ОGО! 2″, halved to UAH 100.

Ukrtelecom also introduced tariff plan “ОGО! 8-2010″ with data transmission speed of up to 8 mbps to the user (2 Mbps from the user), with a license fee of UAH 150 a month, when earlier the top data transmission speed of the “ОGО!” service was about 4 Mbps.

The subscribers to tariff plans “ОGО! 2-2010″ and “ОGО! 8-2010″ are also offered the possibility of creating mail boxes of 1 Gb.

Transfer to a tariff plan with a lesser subscription fee is UAH 20, and to bigger is free.

From the moment of introduction of the new tariff plans, the order of previous plans becomes unavailable.
Earlier 8 unlimited tariff plans were functioning, with monthly subscription fees of UAH 80 — UAH 1,840.

As Ukrainian News reported, in the 3rd quarter the number of users of broadband internet “ОGО!” rose by 9.4% to 789,000.

Ukrtelecom occupies 78.5% of the market of fixed telephony, servicing 9.9 million users.
