Kyivstar To Incorporate Storm And Raise Statutory Fund By UAH 350 Million To UAH 884.4 MillionThe Kyivstar telecommunication operator has decided to incorporate Kyiv-based Storm limited liability company and respectively raise statutory fund by UAH 350 million to UAH 884.369 million, head of Kyivstar press service Yulia Shylina told the Ukrainian News agency.
Stockholders of the company took the decision on March 14.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, On October 5, 2009, the Altimo company (Russia) and Telenor agreed to merge Kyivstar and VimpelCom to create a new cellular communications operator, VimpelCom Ltd. (Bermuda islands), to provide integrated cellular communications services in Russia, Ukraine, and other member-countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as in Georgia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
Kyivstar and Beeline intend to complete their merger by 2014.

Kyivstar Decides To Reorganize From CJSC Into Private JSCThe Kyivstar telecommunication operator has decided to reorganize from a closed joint-stock company into a private joint-stock company.
The decision was taken at the stockholders' meeting on March 14.
Besides, they decided not to use GSM standard in official name of the company (Kyivstar GSM) as the company is introducing telecommunication services on the basis of other technologies, in particular, EDGE/GPRS, WAP, FTTB.

Kyivstar And Beeline End Third Quarter With Profit Of UAH 587.3 MillionThe Kyivstar telecommunications operator and the Beeline mobile communications operator (the Ukrainian Radiosystems and Golden Telecom companies) ended the period of July-September with a net profit of UAH 587.3 million.
This is stated in a report by VimpelCom Ltd., which controls Kyivstar and Beeline.
According to the report, the net revenues of Kyivstar and Beeline increased by UAH 294.4 million or 9.59% to UAH 3,365.4 million in the third quarter compared with the second quarter.
The ARPU (Average revenue per user) of Kyivstar and Beeline increased by UAH 2.9 or 7.3% to UAH 42.6 in the third quarter, compared with the second quarter.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Kyivstar and Beeline ended the period of April-June with a net profit of UAH 339 million.

According to the "Top 100 Ukrainian Business Leaders" ranking, Ukrainian Radiosystems was the sixth largest company in the "communications and telecommunications" sector in terms of net revenues (UAH 0.97 billion) and Golden telecom was the seventh largest in terms of net revenues (UAH 607.4 million) in 2008.

Kyivstar Intending To Merge Storm LLC And Boost Statutory Fund By UAH 350 Million To UAH 884.4 MillionThe Kyivstar telecommunication operator intends to merge the limited liability company Storm based in Kyiv and to boost the statutory fund by UAH 350 million to UAH 884.369 million.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by Kyivstar, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
According to the statement, Kyivstar intends to issue 7 million ordinary registered shares with face value of UAH 50 each. The shares will be exchanged for shares in Storm.
The issue of the shares will be in non-documentary form.
The question of the increase in the statutory fund for merger of Storm with Kyivstar is in agenda of shareholder meetings set for January 20, January 27, and February 10, 2011.

Kyivstar Opens National Roaming For Beeline SubscribersThe Kyivstar telecom operator has opened the national roaming for the subscribers of Beeline (Ukrainian RadioSystems and Golden Telecom companies).
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by Kyivstar, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
"From now on, on territories where there is no radio coverage of GSM-network of Beeline-Ukraine or where the signal is weak, phones of the subscribers of Beeline will automatically connected to the Kyivstar network," reads the statement.
The charges of the calls, messages and other Beeline subscribers' services will not be changed, these will remain the same in correspondence with the active tariff plans, irrespectively of the network the subscriber is connected to.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Kyivstar has announced its intention to open national roaming for the subscribers of Beeline.
Kyivstar and Beeline communications operators plan to close the merger deal by 2014.
The companies will be merged in several stages: at the first one Kyivstar will open national roaming for Beeline subscribers to enable them communicate under the Beeline tariffs within the united network.
