More MTS in UkraineIn November MTS has brought its mobile facilities to 11 settlements of Ukraine where no mobile connections were registered before.
Within November 1-30, 2009 MTS Ukraine, the mobile octopus that had covered the country with easy-to-use mobile services added 35 new base stations, as a part of its communication quality improvement and coverage expanding program.
It's worth mentioning, that increased capacity of the existing network is carried out both by building new, and by expanding the existing base stations. During the above mentioned period 47 additional units for the MTS base stations were built and put into operation.
As the result, the quality of mobile communication in densely populated regions of Ukraine has been much improved.

One more Kiev area is covered by 4G FreshTelUkrainian High Technologies company (TM FreshTel) added Darnitsky district of Kiev to its coverage area of wireless Internet network based on WiMAX technology , said the press service of the company.
Since November 10, 2009 4G Internet is available within Poznyaky and Kharkivsky living areas.
The operator also has added a few more base stations to improve the 4G network coverage. Earlier it was announced that before January 1, 2010 FreshTel network will be expanded to all districts of Kyiv, as well as to its suburbs.
