MTS-Ukraine intends to capture fixed connectionThe UMC mobile operator (TM "MTS-Ukraine") intends to enter the market of fixed telephony. It was announced by MTS President Mikhail Shamolin.
According to Mr.M.Shamolin, the company is interested in Ukraine to build a business of the fixed Internet access. M.Shamolin also noted that the Comstar-Ukraine, daughter company of Russia's Comstar UTS will participate in the project.
However, the specific way of how the company will go to this market, the MTS has not yet decided. According to M.Shamolin, this may be happened through the purchase of existing operators or building its own fiber optic network.

To get the terminal under the new price, it is necessary for subscriber to enter into the additional 1-year agreement for one of the following services: BlackBerry Enterprise Service, BlackBerry Enterprise Service Plus or BlackBerry Internet Service. Each of the above proposals provides a monthly user's payment of 399, 399 and 199 UAH, respectively, according to the company's press-service.
Besides the subscriber will receive unlimited GPRS/EDGE traffic to use BlackBerry service. .
This tariff plan will operate on a permanent basis.

The new tariff called Super MTS Free for pre-paid subscribers has been unveiled by the company speaker.
Since today any subscriber who buys a UAH 30 replenishment card in the case of spending that amount during the current month, will have the next month as much as 60 bonus hryvnia.
In addition, the replenishment of the account in the amount of UAH 30 by one payment will win the subscriber 1000 free minutes per month for calls within the network. In particular, the subscriber will receive 33 minutes per day. In case of exceeding the bonus minutes any call within the network is charged at 0,35 UAH/min.
Calls to other Ukrainian mobile operators are 1 UAH/min.
Note that there is no connection charge in this tariff plan.
