As Astelit сommented, this service does not require any activation, allowing the pre-paid subscribers automatically use the mobile communication in Russia.

Alcatel again in UkraineMobile phone maker Alcatel, which virtually stopped supplying terminals in Ukraine this year, has agreed to cooperate with a second-ranked country's mobile carrier - MTS-Ukraine.
According to MTS press service, since December 1, Alkatel has re-entered the Ukrainian market with one of its terminals on sale with Jeans SIM-card .

Kyivstar offers “Additional Number” for their subscribersThe Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar has introduced a service called "Additional Number" for their subscribers. It was reported by the company's press service.
This new service allows Kyivstar subscribers to use two phone numbers on one SIM-card.
The service is provided on a temporary or permanent basis, and it costs UAH 2 for one week of use , 4 UAH for two weeks, and 8 UAH for a month.
Ongoing contract subscribers can order this service for 8 UAH/month, while prepaid customers will pay as much as 0.3 UAH/day.
The cost of changing the additional number is 10 UAH.

MTS Ukraine: “Happy New Year!” since November 15MTS Ukraine, the Ukrainian mobile carrier has launched a New Year promo campaign "Every other day is FREE!" The action is effective for prepaid and contract subscribers until January 31, 2010.
Under the terms of the action, pre-paid subscribers who are logged into the new special rates "Super MTS Energy 2010" and "Super MTS + SMS 2010", get a cash bonus to their bonus account, that is equals to the amount spent for the previous day with the main account. The maximum cash bonus is 30 UAH.
