The Vega telecommunication group estimates access to Ukrtelecom’s telecommunication cable ducts at merely UAH 8 million in 2010, Yurii Chuikov, chief executive office at Vega, said in an interview with Delo newspaper.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) sees no grounds to declare Ukrtelecom a monopoly on the market of communications cable ducts. Oleksandr Melnychenko, acting head of AMCU, announced this at a press conference.
The National Commission for Regulating Communications (NCRC) has submitted ads of mobile communication operators offering zero rates for services to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
