Revenues from Mobile Cellular Communications Services 7.4% Up to UAH 2.5 Billion in June

abonentsIn June, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services rose by 7.4%, compared to May, from UAH 2,303.205 million to UAH 2,472.513 million.

The State Statistics Committee announced this in a statement, a copy of which Ukrainian News has obtained.

Revenues from mobile cellular communications services accounted for 60.5% of all revenues from communications services.

In January-June, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services made up UAH 13,770.765 million.

As Ukrainian News reported earlier, in May operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services fell by 1.5% compared to April, from UAH 2,337.961 million to UAH 2,303.205 million.

In 2009, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services amounted to UAH 28,456.377 million.

Mobile communications services are provided by five operators in Ukraine, namely Ukrainian Mobile Communications (in the GSM 900/1800 standards), Kyivstar GSM (GSM 900/1800), Golden Telecom GSM (GSM-1800), Ukrainian Radio Systems (GSM-900/1800), and Astelit (GSM 900/1800).
