Revenues from Computer-Based Communications Services 1.3% Up to UAH 316.4 Million in February

Operators’ revenues from computer-based communications services (data transmission and the Internet access) rose by 1.3% from UAH 312.514 million to UAH 316.425 million in February, compared to January.

The State Statistics Committee announced this in a statement, a copy of which Ukrainian News has obtained.

Revenues from computer-based communications services accounted for 8.9% of all revenues from communications services.
Revenues from provision of the Internet access made up UAH 273.687 million.

In January-February revenues from computer-based communications services made up UAH 628.550 million.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, operators’ revenues from computer-based communications services decreased by 5.2% from UAH 329.646 million to UAH 312.514 million in January 2010, compared to December 2009.

In 2009, the revenues from computer-based communications services (data transmission and the Internet access) totaled UAH 3,362.961 million.

According to the State Committee for Communications and Information Technologies, there are about 400 Internet providers in Ukraine.
