NCRC Postpones Introduction Of Rules Requiring Marking Of Imported Radioelectronic And Radiating Devices

The National Communications Regulation Commission (NCRC) has postponed introduction of a rule that requires marking of imported radioelectronic devices and radiating circuits.

The commission announced this in a statement.

“With the aim of considering proposals and comments by central agencies of the executive branch of government and participants on the market, the commission has cancelled the draft amendments to the Provisions on Granting Permission for Importation of Radioelectronic Devices and Radiating Circuits from Abroad into Ukraine,” the commission said in the statement.

The commission decided at a meeting on October 28 to redraft thee draft amendments and re-submit them to the relevant central agencies of the executive branch of government for approval.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the National Communications Regulation Commission decided in July to require marking of imported radioelectronic devices and radiating circuits.

This decision was sent to the Justice Ministry in October for registration.

Registration of such devices is aimed at monitoring the circulation of radioelectronic devices and radiating circuits and protecting the market against poor-quality ones.
