NCRC Cancels License of UkrNet for Use of Frequencies for Broadband Radio Access In Kyiv

The National Commission for Regulating Communications (NCRC) has canceled a license of the Internet provider UkrNet for use of radio frequencies for broadband access in Kyiv.

Ukrainian News learned this from resolution No.39 of the National Commission for Regulating Communications dated 4 February.

The license was issued on 9 June 2006. It is canceled on request from the Internet provider.

Since 1999 limited liability company UkrNet has been providing Internet access services via dial-up and point-to-point channels to organizations and individual users. UkrNet has affiliates and offices in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odesa, Illichivsk (Odesa region), Zaporizhia, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Simferopol, Yalta (Crimea) and Luhansk.
