The National Commission for Regulating Communications (NCRC) has canceled a license of the Internet provider UkrNet for use of radio frequencies for broadband access in Kyiv.
The license was issued on 9 June 2006. It is canceled on request from the Internet provider.
Since 1999 limited liability company UkrNet has been providing Internet access services via dial-up and point-to-point channels to organizations and individual users. UkrNet has affiliates and offices in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odesa, Illichivsk (Odesa region), Zaporizhia, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Simferopol, Yalta (Crimea) and Luhansk.
