NCRC Allocates 10 Shortened Numbers In Eight Regions To Ukrtelecom

The National Communications Regulation Commission has allocated 10 shortened telephone numbers in eight regions to Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Ukraine.

This is stated in the commission resolution No. 59 dated February 11, un.ua says.

The commission allocated Ukrtelecom the numbers 1615 and 1616 in Mykolaiv for use by taxi dispatcher services.
The commission also allocated Ukrtelecom the number 1616 in Mariupol (Donetsk region), Ivano-Frankivsk, and Dnipropetrovsk for use by taxi dispatcher services.

It allocated Ukrtelecom the number 1617 in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) for services involving transportation of passengers and cargo.

The number 1636 in Rivne was allocated to Ukrtelecom for use by specialized information and consulting services.
The number 1638 in Brody (Lviv region) was allocated for information and reference services.

The numbers 1621 and 1645 in Sevastopol were allocated for taxi dispatcher and medicinal information services.
Each of the numbers is valid for one year.

The National Communications Regulation Commission is the central government agency that regulates telecommunications and postal services and distributes radio frequencies.
