The latest directions have called for a name change to mark a new era in the history of the company. The name NNG is part of a corporate development process, and reflects the company’s future: it is refreshed, and ready for the future of navigation as it evolves as a connected feature of a broader set of location aware services. The name evokes the company’s past as the creator of the award-winning iGO Navigation engine, and points toward an exciting future worldwide.
Tamás Vahl, CEO of NNG states: ”As the industry evolves, from pure navigation to location aware web services delivered anywhere, anytime, we are taking the lead in developing software to make this possible.
