Life:) Introduces Life:) Hectic Day

lifeThe Astelit mobile communication operator, the life:) brand, introduced new tariff plan called ‘life:) hectic day’.

In the frames of the plan, a subscriber is provided with 200 minutes for calls to life:) numbers, 20 MB of Internet-traffic and 20 SMSes for UAH 1 a day.

At the same time, the cost of calls to other mobile operators’ numbers and numbers of fixed telephony operators is UAH 1 per minute.

The tariff plan will be in force until December 31, 2011.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in July, the number of subscribers of Astelit, the mobile communications operator that owns the life:) brand, went down by 0.7% or 0.08 million people to 11.69 million people.

In July 2010, comparing to July 2009, the number of subscribers of life:) fell by 1.3% or 0.15 million.

In June, number of life:) subscribers decreased by 0.8% or 0.09 million to 11.77 million.

Astelit finished 2009 with losses of USD 111.8 million, having decreased its net revenues by 19.9% or USD 87.6 million to USD 351.1 million over 2008.

The Turkcell company (Turkey) owns 54.8% of the shares in Astelit, while the System Capital Management corporation (Donetsk) owns 45.2%.
