The International Telecommunication Company (ITC), which provides fixed-line telephone communications in the CDMA standard under the CDMAUA brand name, has launched commercial operation of its 3G wireless Internet access network in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The company provides the wireless Internet access services in the standard CDMA2000 1х EV-DO Rev.A, which belongs to the standards of the third generation.
The reception speed within the network is 3.1 mbps.
Prior to that, the network was put into operation in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv (Zhytomyr region), Uzhhorod, Vinnytsia, Sevastopol, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kherson, and Chernivtsi.
As Ukrainian News reported, in April the ITC company put into operation its network of 3G Internet access in Chernivtsi.
ITC Ukraine-US joint venture was founded in 1996.
The company provides local cellular communications and wireless Internet access services on the basis of the CDMA 2000 1x standard in the range of 800 megahertz.
